R. Gregory Smith
PARTNER
Greg Smith is a former college athlete who earned both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from The Ohio State University while on full academic scholarships, Greg is accustomed to achieving success through hard work and a desire to be the best. The same passion and competitive fire that earned Academic All-American and All-Big Ten honors for Greg as a student-athlete at Ohio State continues today in his legal practice, where he focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
Greg is an experienced trial lawyer with 21 years of solid litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He believes that a lawyer must fully understand both perspectives to have the best chance of success. Having represented personal injury clients for over a decade, he understands the pain and difficulty which his clients go through and knows what it means to be a counselor in every sense of the word. He prides himself on being honest and direct with his clients, and zealously advocating for their rights.
Greg has achieved multiple multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements in personal injury cases in Franklin County, Ohio and its surrounding counties. However, he does not let the size of the potential recovery in a case affect the attention he gives to it. Each case receives his full attention and energy, as he is well aware that each client’s case is the most important thing for them. Greg is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the Sixth Circuit. Greg is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.
